At King’s Wood and Rammamere Heath you can find displays of bluebells in spring and heather in summer. The rides in King’s Wood are good for butterflies and there is a pond which supports many dragonfly species.

Rushmere Country Park
Rushmere Country Park includes the former Stockgrove Country Park. It is jointly owned by the Greensand Trust and Central Bedfordshire Council. It is managed by the Greensand Trust. There are two entrances, each with a visitor centre and car parking.
There are a variety or habitats including lakes, ancient woodland, conifer plantations, meadows and heath.
Linslade Wood
Linslade Wood is close to Leighton Linslade and has great displays of bluebells in the spring and autumn colours.
